Restorative Course - 2
Porcelain Veneers: From Preparation to Cementation
Participants of the course will learn crucial principles for the teeth preparation to be restored with porcelain veneers, as well as difference of all-ceramic and luting materials used for this indication. Starting from the proper preparation planning, through material selection and concluding by optimal cementation procedure, dentists will go through the clinical steps, comprehensively covered in the presentation, followed by the hand-on session.
Veneers offer minimal invasive yet very powerful solution for the aesthetic smile adjustments. Variety of dental materials that can be used for this requires certain minimal thickness depending on the strength and translucency properties. This in its turn influences the preparation technique and cementation procedure as well. Dentists should know the advantages and limitations of different ceramic materials to optimally choose them and perform the right pre-treatment and luting steps according to the clinical case.
