Abstract:
The modern world demands an esthetic face value to strive and survive on a social platform. Keeping smile design principles in mind, a dentist should be able to deliver esthetic and natural looking anterior restorations in harmony with function. Porcelain veneers are known as the best biomimetic restoration till date. The programme will highlight the handling of porcelain laminate veneers and their role in modern esthetic dentistry will benefit aspiring cosmetic dentists. Diastema is a common complaint among the patients and the first line of treatment would be orthodontic tooth movement. Most patients would demand a faster and esthetic solution by improving the colour and texture of the teeth along with diastema closure and these patients can be dealt with Porcelain veneers.
The final outcome lies in the hands of a skillful technician as well as the preparation technique by the dentist. The conventional preparation techniques cannot provide a great esthetic solution in all conditions. The use of the correct armamentarium and technique is ideal to achieve an esthetic solution to the patient. Porcelain veneer bonding protocols and managing the dentine exposure with an Immediate dentine sealing technique ensures longevity of a restoration.
Introduction:
A beautiful, confident and alluring smile is coveted by all and we as dentists are proud contributors towards it. A simple diastema can affect one’s confidence. This can be solved quickly and easily with Porcelain veneers. The challenge dentists face in treating diastema closure are disproportionate veneers, poor emergence profile and unalluring results. A solution to overcome these challenges will be discussed in detail in this hands-on programme. The program will have interesting clinical lectures with HD videos on step-by-step bonding protocols for diastema closures with porcelain veneers. Following the lecture the preparation modifications for diastema closure will be demonstrated and participants will be given hands-on training.

Abstract:
Minor oral surgical procedures to be safely performed in the confines of oral cavity require safe and excellent exposure with access to the surgical site thereby influencing the intra-operative ease and outcome associated with the procedures. Similarly, post operative healing depends on the intra-operative steps and closure of the surgical site. For maximizing outcomes in minor oral surgery, this hands-on workshop aims to address the step by step simplified safe approach to each aspect of the procedure from incision to closure. The workshop also provides hands-on experience on modified surgical techniques helpful for emergent situations and imparts new learning skills
Introduction:
Minor oral surgery basic skill sets include incision placements, raising flaps and closure which have many modifications and adaptations based on the best suited clinical scenario. The workshop aims to firstly discuss the theoretical concepts behind conventional long-standing techniques followed by demonstration and hands-on exercise by participants where-in table instructors shall improvise and provide tips and tricks to improve their existing surgical techniques. The second session will be firstly impartment of theoretical lectures on modified surgical techniques exclusively helpful in intra-operative complications and emergent situations where-in the final hands-on shall be performed mimicking the case scenario on models such as oro-antral communication
Learning Objectives:
- Identifying common pitfalls in pre-surgical plan such as flap design
- Perform procedure such as modified incision and closure techniques on models
- Manage common complications that occur in routine procedures
- Recognize and manage emergent events like oro-antral communication that require modified closures
- Learn additional skills helpful in intra-operative complications like simple ligation, managing bleeders
Who should attend:

- Specialists Dentists with special interest in the topic
- Dental Students
Course Outline:
09:00 – 10:00 Lecture: Case based discussions with incisions and closure on models
10:00 – 11:00 Hands on: Step by step practice on procedure of incision and closure on models for simulation

Abstract:
During instrumentation, errors can occur due to clinician-related difficulties, physiological factors such as dentine hypersensitivity or pain after hard and soft deposit removal, or physical limitations like thermal and cavitation stimulation of the instrument's working end. Unexpected damage to teeth or restorations can occur during treatment because of technical or procedural sequence errors.
The purpose of this course is to illustrate the different choices clinicians face regarding instruments and techniques in NSPT and to provide tips for achieving the best clinical results with patient compliance, acceptance, and comfort. An updated state of the art of evidence-based non-surgical approaches will be discussed, following the well-known traditional treatment methods. Additionally, there will be a comprehensive explanation of advanced and innovative manual and powered instruments that can achieve the most minimally invasive penetration with maximal clinical healing results. Special attention will be given to safety, aerosol management, patient comfort, and the clinician’s best ergonomic choices.
Introduction:
Periodontitis is strongly associated with the presence of dental calculus on root surfaces. Although the rough calculus surface itself may not induce inflammation in the adjacent periodontal tissues, subgingival calculus serves as an ideal substrate for microbial colonization. Therefore, cause-related non-surgical periodontal therapy (NSPT) aims to eliminate microbial biofilm and calcified deposits from the diseased surfaces through root surface debridement. Surface debridement can be accomplished using manual and/or powered instrumentation. A long-standing debate has taken place over the years to identify the best technique and instruments for performing NSPT.
Learning Objectives:
- Discuss the minimally invasive approach in treating periodontitis
- Review the different techniques for subgingival debridement of hand versus power instrumentation
- Choose which ergonomic tools and positions can help clinicians in the dental operatory
- Select the adequate armamentarium according to the clinical case presented
- Practice instrumentation dexterity around difficult to reach oral areas
Who should attend:
