Dr Manal obtained her dental degree from the University of Jordan in Amman and her Certificate of Specialty Training in Pediatric Dentistry and Master of Oral Biology from the University of Maryland at Baltimore in the USA. Dr Manal is certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is currently the Dean and the Program Director of Pediatric Dentistry Department at the Hamdan Bin Mohammed College of Dental Medicine, Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences. She is also a Founding Executive Board Member of the Emirates Pediatric Dentistry Club of the Emirates Dental Association. Dr Manal is an appointed member of the Educational Committee of the International Association of Paediatric Dentistry as well as the Standardized Records Committee of the International Association of Dental Traumatology. Her experience includes academic positions with Boston University and the University of Maryland as well as private clinical practice. Her research interests include dental education, oral health of patients with special needs, traumatic dental injuries, and biological caries management in primary teeth. Dr Manal has numerous publications in these fields in internationally renowned high-impact professional journals.

He is a Specialist Pediatric Dentist by profession and has been working in the same capacity in United Arab Emirates since the last 8 years. He has an experience of over 13 years as a Pediatric Dentist. He became a dentist and then specialized in Pediatric Dentistry for a good reason that he feels himself at his best whenever he is around with kids. He has a strong expertise and wisdom in this field which is evident from his passion for teaching and practicing the subject. His research acumen with his numerous projects and publications voice out for themselves as well.
He has also successfully designed and customized the Hospital Information Management System needed for the teaching dental hospital where he is presently working and this software meets all international standards. His passion found new heights when he became the Chairperson of Clinical Sciences which also enabled him to sharpen his administrative skills. As of the moment, he is actively involved as the Chairperson of Quality and Patient Safety and also leading the college in all the quality accreditations. He has been responsible for leading all the quality improvement programs at the organization where he serves. Apart from these responsibilities he is also the vice chair of the Research and Ethics Committee of the University and is also a member of the research committee at the Ministry of Health, United Arab Emirates.
He managed to lead the organization to achieve Accreditation Canada as well as to lead the private clinic of the college to get re-accredited with another quality accreditation, both of this was done in a remarkably short period of time. He also serves as a surveyor for Accreditation Canada from Oct 2021.
He loves to live life to the fullest in all aspects.

Dr. John J. Young Jr., received his degree from New York University College of Dentistry in New York City and completed a General Practice Residency at Staten Island University Hospital. He then joined his father's general dental practice, where he worked for over 30 years. In addition to private practice, Dr Young was a consultant and treated developmentally disabled children and adults at the Terence Cardinal Cooke Health Care Center for 25 years. He is a Fellow and past President of the New York Academy of Dentistry and Fellow and past Chair of the New York Section of the American College of Dentists. He is also a Fellow of the International College of Dentists, Pierre Fauchard Academy and the Academy of General Dentistry. As a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Society and the New York County Dental Society, Dr Young was appointed to the Greater New York Dental Meeting Organization Committee where he presently serves as a Troubleshooter.

Dr. Rosalyn Sulyanto is the Director of Post-Doctoral Research at Boston Children’s, and an Assistant Professor of Developmental Biology at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She received her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. While at Harvard, she conducted research on bone development as a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Fellow. She completed her residency in pediatric dentistry at
Nationwide Children’s Hospital/The Ohio State University and was a recipient of the 3M Electro Sensitive Protection Equipment (ESPE) Preventive Pediatric Dentistry Postdoctoral Research Fellowship, the Graduate Student Research Award, and the Ralph E. MacDonald Award, and was awarded a Master’s Degree in Dentistry.
Her research focuses on the prevention of early childhood caries and the oral microbiome, and has been supported by several intramural and extramural grants. Dr. Sulyanto has authored numerous original manuscripts, book chapters,
and reviews, including guidelines from professional societies. Clinically, she treats infants, children, adolescents, and individuals with special healthcare needs. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
