Dr Narayan Gandedkar is a Senior Lecturer - Discipline Lead and Coordinator of Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) (Orthodontics) and Post-Graduate Supervisor of DClinDent (Orthodontics) at the University of Sydney School of Dentistry, and Course Director for Orthodontics Courses of Sydney Health Executive Education. He is a Professor (adjunct) at the Department of Orthodontics, SGT University, Delhi. He is Australasian Orthodontic Board Certified (ABO), and holds membership of ADA-NSW, and Australian Society of Orthodontists (ASO) (Academic). He is the Associate Editor of Seminars in Orthodontics, APOS-Journal and Editorial Board Member of Thai Orthodontic Journal and JIOS, and a reviewer of fourteen specialty-based journals. He has conducted more than twenty-five workshops in Orthognathic Surgery, Craniofacial Orthodontics, and has delivered over forty presentations (Invited Speaker/Oral Presentations) at American Association of Orthodontists meeting (AAO) (USA), The American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association ACPA (USA), India, Australia, Japan, Singapore, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Malaysia, China, Bangladesh, and other countries. He has published over seventy international papers/book chapters. He has co-authored a textbook titled “Surgery-First Orthodontic Management: A Clinical Guide to a new treatment approach” published (Springer International, Switzerland) in 2019, and has written several international book chapters, including, Mosby, Elsevier, edited by M. Papadopoulos (Aristotle University, Greece).
