Thirty years ago, AEEDC Dubai began with a belief rather than a blueprint. A belief that dentistry deserved a global home for science, learning, and exchange, one that values knowledge, respects the profession, and brings people together beyond borders. There was no certainty of how far the journey would go, only a clear sense of purpose and trust in the power of the dental community.

Year after year, that belief was strengthened by those who chose to be part of it. Clinicians, educators, researchers, students, businessmen and industry leaders returned, not out of habit, but because AEEDC Dubai became a place where progress felt shared, where ideas were respected, and where the profession could move forward together. What began as a focused scientific meeting gradually grew into a global gathering shaped by participation, collaboration, and mutual confidence, and this growth was never driven by scale alone, but by relevance, credibility and the trust of a global dental community that chose AEEDC Dubai as its meeting point.

Today, as AEEDC Dubai marks its 30th edition, this journey stands as a reflection of what the dental world can build when knowledge leads and community follows. AEEDC Dubai has evolved into the world’s largest annual international dental conference and exhibition, welcoming this year more than 74,450 visitors and participants from 155 countries, alongside 5,860 international brands represented by 4,316 exhibitors, across 72,500 square metres of exhibition and conference space. Yet its true significance lies beyond scale. It lies in its role as a meeting ground where education advances, innovation finds direction, and professional relationships turn into lasting partnerships.

AEEDC Dubai 2026 continues this path with a forward-looking vision shaped by the realities and opportunities redefining dentistry today. Digital transformation, artificial intelligence, advanced clinical education, and the evolving business of dental practice are no longer emerging concepts, they are active forces shaping the profession. This edition translates that vision into experience through dedicated platforms and zones, including AEEDC 4.0 for digital dentistry, the Start-up Area and Incubator Zone supporting entrepreneurship and innovation, the Education Corner fostering continuous learning, and the Dental Business Hub addressing the changing dynamics of dental practice. Together, these elements form an integrated scientific environment designed to support both today’s needs and tomorrow’s ambitions.

Adding further meaning to this milestone, AEEDC Dubai 2026 honours the Arab Republic of Egypt as Guest of Honor this year. Egypt has been a longstanding and valued part of the AEEDC journey, contributing to dental education, research, manufacturing, and regional collaboration. Its presence in this edition reflects shared history, mutual respect, and a common commitment to advancing oral healthcare across the region and beyond.

AEEDC Dubai has never been the achievement of one entity alone. Its growth has been shaped by the global dental community, by those who believed in its purpose, contributed to its content, supported its development, and trusted it as a platform for progress. To our partners, exhibitors, speakers, institutions, and professionals from around the world, I extend my sincere appreciation.
