Ms. Gitana Rederienė, PhD is a highly respected dental hygienist, researcher, and public health professional with extensive experience in clinical practice, leadership, and academia. She holds a PhD in Public Health from Vilnius University and has dedicated over two decades to advancing oral health in Lithuania and across Europe. Dr. Rederienė is the current President of the European Dental Hygienists Federation and the Lithuanian Dental Hygienists Association, playing a key role in shaping policies and promoting professional development within the field. She is also an active member and SIG Chair in the European Association of Dental Public Health. Prof. Meleti is the current President of the European Association of Oral Medicine and has been actively involved in research related to oral cancer, saliva-based diagnostics, and oral potentially malignant disorders. Dr. Treister is an oral medicine specialist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Clinical Director of Oral Medicine and Oral Oncology at the Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women's Cancer Center in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Treister earned his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and subsequently completed his Oral Medicine and Oral Biology training at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where he is an Associate Professor of Oral Medicine in the Department of Oral Medicine, Infection and Immunity. He is board certified in Oral Medicine and practices at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Boston Children’s Hospital, and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, with special interest in oral mucosal diseases, salivary gland diseases, orofacial pain disorders, and oral complications in cancer patients. He has published extensively in the field of oral medicine with an emphasis on oral complications of allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation and oral graft-versus-host disease, and is a past president of the American Academy of Oral Medicine. He is co-principal investigator of an NIH R01 grant entitled “Long Term Oral Health Outcomes in the Chronic GVHD Consortium” and serves as site principal investigator for an NIH U01 grant entitled “Clinical Registry of Dental Outcomes in Head and Neck Cancer Patients”. Dr. Noora Ali Aburahima graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from University of Sharjah in 2012. She then joined the Dubai Health Authority, where she completed a one-year dental internship followed by a three-year residency program in dentistry. Building on this foundation, she pursued advanced training in Pediatric dentistry, earning a master’s degree from Mohammed Bin Rashed University in 2019, and later achieved Membership in Pediatric Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2021. Over the past 12 years, Dr. Aburahima has gained extensive experience as both a General Dentist and a Specialist Pediatric Dentist. She currently serves as a Specialist Pediatric Dentist in Dubai Health and as a Clinical Instructor at Mohammed Bin Rashid University. She is a core faculty for the Dental Internship and Family Dentistry Residency programs. Her clinical expertise includes advanced behavior management techniques, nitrous oxide sedation, and comprehensive dental rehabilitation under general anesthesia for children with complex needs or high dental anxiety. Dr. Aburahima’s academic contributions include peer reviewed publications, regional conference presentations, and the supervision and training of dental interns and residents. Her published research, “Assessment of Pediatricians’ Oral Health Knowledge, Behavior, and Attitude in the United Arab Emirates”, underscores her commitment to advancing pediatric oral health at the clinical and community level. She has presented her work at leading forums such as the Kuwait Dental Conference. Beyond her clinical and academic roles, Dr. Aburahima is passionate about community outreach. Dr. Umberto Zanetti, born in Brescia on 12/12/1954. Graduated in Medicine and Surgery on 17/09/1979 Specialist in Maxillofacial Surgery (Milan 1988). Specialist in Microbiology and Venereology (Brescia 1994). From 1980 to 31/12/2017 he carried out his surgical activity at the Maxillofacial Unit of the Spedali Civili Company of Brescia, first as assistant, co-responsible assistant and since 2004 as Director in charge of the U.O.D. Jaw Surgery - Head and Neck Department. Since 1 January 2018, he has been a maxillofacial consultant for the Brescia Hospital Institutes San Donato Group with particular regard to advanced implant surgery and the surgical treatment of dentoskeletal dysmorphia. Since 2002, he has been Adjunct Professor for the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Brescia, for the teaching of the integrated course of Maxillofacial Surgery for the Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery and for the Degree Course in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics. He currently continues to teach as Adjunct Professor for the Degree Course in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics, Maxillofacial Surgery He has published numerous papers in Italian and foreign journals for his scientific activity and has participated with communications in various international and foreign congresses (N° 150 publications and abstracts) He also works as a freelancer in his own office and in surgical consultancy at reference centers for implantology. She is the Past President and current Scientific Chair of the Lebanese Society of Endodontology, where she has served as an active scientific board member since 2009. Prof. Zogheib is also a Specialist member of the European Society of Endodontology, ESE. A Full Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry, Saint Joseph University of Beirut, she is the former Head of the Endodontics Department and actual director of the Endodontic Post-Graduate University Diploma. She is as well a Fellow of the International College of Dentistry,ICD. Prof. Zogheib serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Contemporary Dental Practice (JCDP), the International Journal of Oral Health (IJOH), and the Journal of the Lebanese Dental Association (JLDA). Prof. Josette Camilleri trained as a dentist at the University of Malta and completed her doctoral training as a Commonwealth scholar by a split site scholarship enabling her to work under the supervision of the late Professor Tom Pitt Ford, King’s College London. She is currently the Head of Dentistry at the University of Birmingham and a Professor in Endodontics and Applied Materials. She is also founder and Director of Birmingham Materials Testing Services (BiMaTS), an operating division of University of Birmingham Enterprise. Her research interests include endodontic materials such as root-end filling materials and root canal sealers, with particular interest in mineral trioxide aggregate, Portland cement hydration and other cementitious materials used as biomaterials and also in the construction industry. Her research work has been key to the discovery of the role of sodium hypochlorite interactions with bismuth oxide and its link to tooth discolouration. Josette has published over 170 papers in peer-reviewed international journals and her work is very well cited. In 2018, she has been awarded the Louis Grossman prize by the French Endodontic Society and is the first female recipient of this prestigious award.
